Marc Jacobs Perfume Collection!

Hi everyone, I am so sorry this blog is quite overdue but school has been hectic recently so I apologise.

Today I thought that I would share my Marc Jacobs perfume collection. Marc Jacobs is a well-know brand mostly for it's fashion and perfume ranges, it is an extremely luxurious brand but if you have some money burning a hole in your pocket, buying a gift for someone or just fancy treating yourself, I highly recommend these products.

MY COLLECTION

DAISY DREAM

This is my 100% all time favourite perfume. Not only is its smell gorgeous but it reminds me of times when I have worn it, so it is very nostalgic for me. It smells like a mixture of floral and musky, a typical girly scent and perfect for all year round. Also, the packaging is beautiful (it kind of reminds me of a tiny wedding dress wrapped round a bottle) and looks great sitting on your dressing table or on a shelf in your room. This perfume lasts all day and is perfect for parties when you dance a lot because you can guarantee that you will still be smelling fresh at the end of the night. I have almost ran out of this perfume but I will definitely be buying it again.

DOT

This perfume has such a beautiful girly, musky scent perfect for Autumn and Winter as it smells very warming and cosy as it is quite musky. The packaging of this perfume is once again stunning but is very extravagant and takes up a lot of space therefore it is not very travel friendly. I love this perfume and always get compliments when i wear it. It lasts all day even through a full day of school.

DAISY

Daisy is an extremely floral scent as you can probably tell by the name since it is named after a flower. This would be absolutely perfect for a gift for someone and smells different on everyones skin. Again, this lid is so pretty and elegant. This perfume lasts all day through school even with a period of PE.

DAISY BLUSH

This perfume is actually part of the 'blush' range. As you can probably tell by looking at the picture it is the same packaging as Daisy except the flowers on the lid are two tones of pink. Despite the similarities to the packaging of Daisy, this smells completely different. It is more citrus and sour with a musky undertone. I have only got this perfume from the 'blush' range, I also believe that the range is limited addition but I shall be buying one or two more from the range fairly soon.

Obviously, these perfumes are luxuries and you definitely do not have to spend that amount of money on perfumes to smell great. I will say that these perfumes do last longer than any other perfume I own. As you can imagine it is very hard to describe scents so if you really want to have a good sniff at them then just pop into your closest Debenhams and sniff away.

Now lets be honest, everyone loves a bit of fairy lights here and there! What i suggest is to get some fairy lights ( you can gets these for as little as £2 in places like primark) and hang them maybe over your bed or round some photographs! Fairy light make your place look so much more cosy and put together! I love them!!

I honestly dont know how many candles i have around my room but they just set the mood and make you feel so much more calm and it gives a nice little kick to your room! And also, whatever candle brand you go for, they have a scent to match EVERYONES preferences.

Number 4: Blankets

I dont know anyone who doesnt like a good old blanket! You can find good quality fluffy blankets for very cheap prices and you can get one to match any room setting! I like to get blankets to match my bedding and it just pulls your whole room together and makes it a bit more you! Blankets are such a good feature in your room to just snuggle up with and watch a but of tv!

Number 5: Mirrors

Finally, this might sound stange but if you have a small space to work with, mirrors can guarantee the look of a bigger room/space no matter where you out them, and also, you can always take a cheeky little selfie in them now and again!

School organisation!

Hi everyone! We are really sorry this is going up later than usual. Today I have 8 tips to help you stay organised for school, as both of us are still at school it made sense for us to share our tips with you. I know this is a pretty boring subject but personally I am always looking for tips to stay organised for school and I would say that I am quite an organised person so hopefully these tips will help you become the most organised person that you can possibly be!

1. Pack the night before

If you pack your bag the night before with all the subject that you need for the next day. Not only are you being organised and prepared but you are also saving yourself time in the morning so that you can have an extra 5 minutes with your head on your pillow.

2. Lay out your clothes the night before

If you lay out your clothes the night before along with your bag you will be saving even more time in the morning because you won't have to deal with the stress of picking your outfit or uniform.

3. Have a shower the night before

This blog post might as well be called 'how to save time in the morning'. Seriously thought, if you want more time in the morning then these are the tips for you! If you have a shower at night and do your hair then you can have another 20/30 minutes in bed and who doesn't want more sleep.

4. Keep a diary for homework

If your teacher gives you any homework the first thing you should do is whip out your diary and jott it down for the date that it is due. Check your diary every night and highlight it when you have completed the task.

5. Keep a notebook in your bag

Always keep a notebook in your bag for school in case your teacher asks you to take notes or remember some facts or figures.

6. Stock up your pencil case

Keep your pencil case stocked and carry extra. You will always get that 1 person in your class who will ask for a pencil or rubber and won't give it back so I always carry extra (or you could ask for it back or say no in the first place).

7. Keep all your supplies in one place

Use this tip simply so that you don't lose your subjects or supplies. Take a shelf or cupboard just for your school things.

8. Take some time out of your day

If you have homework, start doing it as soon as you step in the door before you even glance at your phone, do your homework! This way, once you have done it you have the full night to yourself.

Those are some of my school tips, I hope they helped you. I know that some of them are fairly self-explanatory but they will help you I can garuntee. If you have any posts you would like us to do please leave a comment and we will do them.
